The zoo said the new animals are settling in in a behind-the-scenes area of the facility, where they will be able to begin exploring their new surroundings as the final phases of Adventure Cove are completed. The other six sea lions were born at different facilities around the world, but have lived together for about 10 years at a marine park in Shanghai, China. Three of the sea lions were also born at SeaWorld. ![]() The harbor seals were born at SeaWorld in Orlando. The sea lions and harbor seals traveled from Florida and arrived safely at the zoo on Sunday, May 17. Their arrival is another milestone marking the zoo's newest region, Adventure Cove, is getting closure to being completed.
